The Extraordinary Miss Flower brings to life the remarkable story of Geraldine Flower and the discovery of a suitcase full of passionate love letters from the 1960s and 70s, the find that led Emilíana Torrini back into the studio for her most personal album yet. Called “a true original” by Empire, the film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival and has since played to audiences across Europe and Australia.
This special Taste of Iceland event in New York includes a Q&A on the film, the album, and the personal journey behind both, followed by the screening, with Emilíana closing things out with a short live performance.
2nd October, 6-8pm at Scandinavia House, 58 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10016
