I love you to the moon and back is a large-scale poster work in two parts - a pair of handwritten inlay cards from home-made compilation tapes Iain and Jane made for each other. The posters were made specifically for the first major temporary exhibition at Tate Modern, Century City, which examined the key moments of cultural creativity in nine cities across the world. The cities and periods included New York in the 1970s, Paris in the 1910s, Bombay/Mumbai in the 1990s and London from 1987 to the present. In the Turbine Hall, the London section included an area titled Big Blue, exhibiting a collection of young London artists, curated by Peter Lewis and I love you to the moon and back were pasted directly to the wall.
